Bending the Bars Exhibition
for National Trust of Australia (Vic)
On the 40th anniversary of the legalisation of homosexuality in Victoria, National Trust's Bending the Bars exhibition celebrated the significant and vital changes for which the LGBTIQ+ community fought hard to achieve in health, arts and legal reform.
The branding was challenging, it needed to reflect the positive and negative side of the LGBTIQ+  journey, as well as the symbolic location, the Watchhouse at the Old Melbourne Gaol.
Working with curators and subject matter experts, the brand was applied to printed promotional material, social media imagery, outdoor signage and three large interpretive signage boards in the Watchhouse.
